About us
Gutter Guru (previously Service Masters Exterior) initially offered a wide variety of services to customers. We did everything from painting, repair work, roofing, and renovation for apartment complexes and hotels. However, as time went on, customers became increasingly frustrated with the vendors they were using for simpler services such as rain gutter, roof, and dryer vent cleaning. These vendors were often unresponsive, disorganized, and disruptive to tenants and guests.
WE DISCOVERED TWO SIMPLE TRUTHS
METHODS AND HOW WE WORK
We ensure that we hit every gutter and downspout. If you are unsatisfied with the level of work, we will come on site and fix the issue.
We serve you by serving your tenants and guests. We are trained to deal with porches, cars, and other property. We give you templated materials to provide notice to tenants/guests containing our phone number and we are available to them throughout the entire lifecycle of the job.
Everyone on site will be easily identifiable via dress.
We participate in courses and credentialing programs like OSHA to make sure that we are performing the work as quickly, efficiently, and safely as possible
We take photos of the roof and check for any obvious issues. This is not a roof inspection as we are not a roofing company (we stay in our lane). However, we provide this as a complimentary service.

HOW DOES THE GUTTER GURU CLEAN GUTTERS?
Our system is designed to find clogs, blockages and minimize mess.
How do we accurately Identify Blockage?
We primarily use blowers and blow the downspout from top to bottom. We use our hands when the situation demands water only when absolutely necessary. Water, although useful in some circumstances, can conceal blockages by seeping through the downspout. We are able to “feel” a blockage using air.
How do we alleviate blockage?
Our phone number will always be available to tenants and guests.
When we find blocked downspouts and elbows, we take them off, clean them, and put them back into place.
What about mess?
We remove all debris from the roof and clean the gutter and downspout debris from around the property as we clean each building. We also guarantee our services to ensure cleanliness and professionalism.
